Following the debut of the VIZIV Concept at the Geneva Motor Show last year, Subaru unveiled the VIZIV 2 Concept at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, previewing its future crossover vehicles.

The VIZIV 2 Concept is an environmental friendly car, yet still offers Subaru’s well known driving performance.  It’s a Sport Utility Vehicle with a 4- door body compared to the 2-door on the first VIZIV Concept.

With an “Independent-rear-motor-driven symmetrical AWD” system, the Subaru VIZIV 2 Concept rides on 20-inch wheels.  It has a wheelbase of 107.48 inch, and measures 174.61 inch long, 75.59 inch wide and 60.24 inch tall (a little bit bigger than the VIZIV Concept first version).

The vehicle gets the power from a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.6-L direct injection turbo engine (2.0-L Boxer engine in the first VIZIV Concept), a front motor and two rear motors.  The engine is backed with a “High-torque-compatible Lineartronic” CVT.
