Toyota to Introduce GRMN Sports FR Concept at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Press Release : GRMN Sports FR Concept Introduced

Basing on the Toyota GT86, which is known as Scion FR-S in the U.S, the GRMN Sports FR Concept is a twincharged track car, features together a turbo and supercharger.  (GRMN stands for “GAZOO Racing tuned by Meister of Nürburgring”)

Sharing the identical 2.0-L flat-four boxer engine with the road legal Toyota GT86, but with the turbo and supercharger added together, the car is now has the maximum power yield of 316 horsepower.  Torque is also improved to a limit of 310 lb-ft.

Supplied with a GRMN tuned suspension, the GRMN Sports FR Concept has ground clearance of just 3.74 inches.  In addition, the car is complemented with 18-inch wheels along with wider rear tires, and quad-exhaust system to support its track performance and handling.

Outfitted with sports body kit, the GRMN Sports FR Concept is more dynamic.  The body kit includes wider and more pointed front and rear bumpers, and a rear spoiler.

On the inside, the Sports FR Concept is equipped with bucket seats, roll cage, and four-point racing harnesses.
