Still not happy with 545 horsepower that the stock Nissan GT-R produces? For an extra $88,990 payment over the GT-R’s sticker price, you can have the “Ultimate Street Edition GT-R”, Switzer has announced.
The Switzer’s “Ultimate Street Edition GT-R” is re-engineered and upgraded from the 545 horsepower Nissan GT-R. With an upgraded engine and a rebuilt transmission, the Switzer’s “Ultimate Street Edition GT-R” yields almost double the amount of horsepower from the stock GT-R to over 1,000 horsepower.
To accommodate its new powerful output, Switzer lowered the suspension for better handling and added the lightweight “Switzer Signature series” wheels.
So with $89,990 extra, what is the outcome? “The best thing in the world” according Switzer. The “Ultimate Street Edition GT-R achieves 0-60 mph in the 2 second range and under a mile, it can reach its top speed of well over 200 mph. With this kind of performance, the “Ultimate Street Edition GT-R”, according to Switzer, “can out-accelerate virtually anything on the road”.
