Subaru BRZ RA Racing Goes On Sale in Japan

Subaru has begun selling in Japan, the BRZ RA Racing, which is produced straight from the factory based on the BRZ, but is equipped with high-performance racing parts including ventilated disc brakes, Torsen LSD (limited-slip differential), engine oil cooler and air cooler, 4-point seat belt and 6-point roll cage, and front and rear transport hook.
Designed for track racing, the BRZ RA racing is basically the bare version of the stock BRZ with less equipment. It weighs about 40 lbs less.
The Subaru BRZ RA Racing rides on 16-inch steel wheels, and wearing the same 2.0-liter boxer engine which expectedly produces 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque.
Offered only with only 6-speed manual transmission, the BRZ RA Racing is only offered for the Japanese domestic market at ¥2,731,429 ($30,120).
