The Scion brand was introduced in the U.S market 10 years ago, and to celebrate its 10th anniversary, Scion introduced at this year New York Auto show a limited edition, named Scion 10 Series, for each model in the Scion lineup, which consists of Scion xB, iQ, FR-S, tC and xD.
All Scion 10 Series vehicles are painted in a unique premium color – Scion called it “Silver Ignition”. Besides the exclusive color, the Scion 10 Series can be distinguished by having the Scion sign lights up momentarily on the dash as you enter the vehicle. Other interior features that differentiate the 10 Series versions from the standard versions are silver seat belts, solar-powered illuminated shift knob and an LED Scion locator badge that lights up when the car is unlocked.
Additional features specifically equipped for each model are: graphite finished alloy wheels for the Scion xB, iQ and xD 10; and HID headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lamps, dual automatic climate controls and a smart key with push-button start ignition for the Scion FR-S 10 Series.
Slated to go on sale in June, there will only 10,000 units in total available (could be 2,000 unit for each model). Each vehicle is stamped with an interior badge with sequential number.
