The 2011 Nissan Versa, which goes on sale in June 2010, is once again offered in a range of high-value models, including the remarkably low-priced Versa Sedan 1.6 Base with 107-horsepower 1.6-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission. The Versa Sedan 1.6 adds air conditioning among other standard features, and is also available with additional standard features and a choice of 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
Following an extensive list of changes for the 2010 model year, enhancements for 2011 are limited to the a new six-disc CD player for the Sedan 1.8 S; and the addition of Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) for the Versa Sedan 1.6 (except 1.6 Base).
The front-wheel drive Nissan Versa continues to provide excellent fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance or roominess. Versa features one of the highest standard horsepower/torque ratings and largest interiors in the entry-level segment. Versa’s long list of standard and available equipment is anything but entry-level, however, and includes available Nissan Navigation System, Nissan Intelligent Key™, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System and XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately).
