Revisions for 2011 Nissan Murano

The Nissan Murano’s premium crafted crossover experience continues in 2011 with a number of significant enhancements – starting with a revised front grille and bumper design, new taillight appearance, a new 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design and the addition of a new trim level, the Murano SV model.
The new Murano SV offers a long list of standard comfort and convenience features such as dual panel power moonroof, 7-inch color monitor, RearView Monitor, 8-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support, 08IT system with USB for iPod® and CD, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately), automatic on/off headlights, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System and more.
Other Murano enhancements for the 2011 model year include a change of instrument panel illumination from orange to white; the addition of an auto dimming rearview mirror with compass and HomeLink® Universal Transceiver to Murano SL; heated steering wheel added to Murano SL; Bose® premium audio system with nine speakers and dual subwoofer added to Murano SL; new center stack colors; new wood grain hue on Murano LE; and one new exterior color, Graphite Blue.
All 2011 Muranos feature a VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 rated at 265 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque and an advanced Xtronic CVT™ that provides a sporty and smooth driving experience. Murano is available in front-wheel drive or with an Intuitive All-Wheel Drive system, and all Muranos come standard with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with a Traction Control System (TCS) for all-weather confidence.
Standard or available technology includes Nissan Intelligent Key™ with Push Button Start, Interface System for iPod®, 11-speaker Bose® premium audio system, an advanced touch screen navigation system with 9.3GB Music Box® hard drive, and Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System. The 2011 Murano is available in eight models: Murano S FWD, Murano S AWD, Murano SV FWD (new for 2011), Murano SV AWD (new for 2011), Murano SL FWD, Murano SL AWD, Murano LE FWD and Murano LE AWD.
The 2011 Nissan Murano is scheduled to go on sale in October 2010.
