Nissan demonstrated its zero emission concept, the PIVO 3, at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The PIVO 3 Concept features a self parking technology called “Automated Valet Parking”, which in specially-equipped parking lot; the car can find the parking space, park itself and connect to the power supply. In addition, with the provided smart phone app, finding the PIVO 3 in a parking lot is just as easy as parking it.
For those who need some cash, the PIVO 3 can also sell back its surplus charge to the local grid via the recharging point.
With a 2+1 seating design, the PIVO 3 Concept is a super compact sized vehicle, which can make a u-turn in only 13 feet. It is a perfect car for metropolitan traveling.
The PIVO Concept project was started back in 2005. The PIVO 3, as its name implies, is in phase 3 of the project, which made global introduction at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. The PIVO 2 was introduced in 2007.
