Auto journalists put the all-electric Nissan LEAF on the test courses in Shibetsu, Hokkaido in the freezing temperatures of northern Japan.
The test courses are 230 meters above sea level and the LEAF was tested under extreme weather conditions, icing any concerns that wintry weather could drastically reduce battery performance.
