At the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Nissan hinted a next-generation crossover could look be powered by unveiling a Hi-Cross Concept. The Hi-Cross Concept would extend Nissan’s leadership in the crossover market with a possible expansion of the current Juke, Murano portfolio.

Produced in Japan, the Hi-Cross Concept is a compact yet roomy vehicle with highly space efficient interior with three rows of seats for seven passengers.

Powered by a hybrid drive train including an electric motor powered by a compact lithium-on battery and a 2.0-liter gas engine, the Hi-Cross Concept provides the performance potential of a 2.5-liter with better fuel economy and less emissions.

Riding on 21-inch alloy wheels, the Nissan Hi-Cross Concepts measures around 183 inch long, 73 inch wide and 66 inch tall.
