Nissan launched the NV200 at the end of 2009 and since then there have been over 120,000 units delivered in as many as 40 countries. It was once voted International Van of the year. And to make it even better, Nissan introduced the e-NV200 Concept, which is a combination of two Nissan’s best vehicles in its category, the Nissan LEAF and Nissan NV200.
One noticeable advantage about the e-NV200 electric Van is that it is able to use the energy stored in the battery to power electric tools and other equipments up to 6,000W. With this ability, the e-NV200 could be used for different purposes from mobile workshop to mobile restaurant, etc.
Nissan and FedEX have been working together since the end 2011 testing the e-NV200 prototypes in London and in Japan. The Nissan e-NV200 made its world debut at the 2012 NAIAS back in January, 2012. Currently on display at the 2012 Hanover International Motor Show in Germany; at this event, Nissan and Fedex also announced the extension of the partnership to test the e-NV200 in other countries such as Brazil, Singapore and U.S. Nissan also plans to bring this car into production as early as in 2013.
