Press Release : Nissan e-NV200 Concept – World Debut at the 2012 NAIAS

Nissan debuted the e-NV200 Concept at the 2012 North American Auto Show in Detroit.  The e-NV200 is the zero emission full electric small van designed for business and families.

The Nissan e-NV200 is built on the foundation of the Nissan NV200 and combined with the visual from the LEAF EV.  The exterior is painted in a color following the Nissan LEAF’s Aqua Blue.  The interior is clean and modern, yet retaining the NV200’s functionality and versatility.

The e-NV200 shares its major drivetrain with the Nissan LEAF. It is powered by a lithium-ion battery composed of 48 compact modules and a high-response 80kW AC synchronous motor that generates 207 lb-ft (280 N-m/rpm) of torque.
