2013 Subaru WRX and WRX STI Special Editions
Unveiled in late October, 2012 at the SEMA Show, the 2013 Subaru WRX and WRX STI Special Edition were priced today at $28,795 and $34,795 respectively – that is $500 more than the WRX Premium and $500 more than the WRX STI.
Interior, the special edition WRX and WRX STI feature dark trim with orange stitches on seats, floor mats, door panels and shift boot.
Powered by the same BOXER engines used on the stand WRX and WRX STI models, the WRX Special Edition generates 265 horsepower, and the WRX STI Special Edition, with a turbocharged BOXER engine, produces 305 horsepower.
Both WRX and WRX STI Special Edition will be available for purchase in the spring of 2013. There will be only 200 units of WRX Special Edition and 100 units of WRX STI Special Edition available, so don’t be surprised not to find them at your local Subaru dealers.
