The Red Lexus LF-LC Hybrid Sport Coupe was first unveiled at the 2012 NAIAS, and since then it has been reported that the LF-LC concept will get the green light to go in production within 3 years. Even though Lexus has not officially confirmed it, it gives its fans a little more hope by introducing the second version of the LF-LC Concept at the 2012 Australia International Motor Show.
Just like the first version of the LF-LC concept, advanced materials and technologies come together in the LF-LC Blue Concept. The LF-LC Blue Concept is strongly influenced by the first version LF-LC with the extensive use of carbon fiber together with aluminum alloy to attain a light body mass.
The LF-LC is powered by a powertrain dubbed “Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive”, which features a strong yet efficient Atkinson cycle combustion engine, unifying with an advanced battery pack to produce 500 horsepower, which is the best of any Lexus hybrid.
Interior, the LF-LC integrates a remote touch-screen device that allows the driver to operate controls at ease without changing position or line-of-sight.
