The Infiniti FX designed for reigning Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel was unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt International Motor Show.  The first-ever Vettel-badged road car, the FX Sebastian Vettel version is the lightest, fastest and most aerodynamic FX which can achieve 186 mph reflecting the world champion’s desire.

According to Sebastian, the first priority this FX was to give it more performance. However, speed is just one part of the picture.  To make the vehicle the “word-beater”, the entire car’s system, and especially the aerodynamics must be greatly considered.

The infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel version is 0.8 inch lower than the standard FX version and featuring a more dynamic and distinctive grille.  The addition of the rear wing seems to be the most obvious change which helps increase downforce and add stability to the car.

The weight is trimmed down further with usage of Carbon for the sills, mirror covers, rear diffuser, splitter and sills.  The design of the splitter and diffuser and central rear fog light is inspired by the F1 car.

The wheels are also designed exclusively for this FX.  Besides having a distinctive design, the 21-inch black multispoke with silver rims wheels are also 101 lbs lighter than the standard 21-inch wheel.

On the inside, carbon fiber is seen on the doors and central console.  Seats are covered with black quilted suede with purple stitching.

The Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel is powered by a 5.0L V8 engine which produces close to 415 horsepower.
