MUGEN has revealed its plans to make a Honda CR-Z MUGEN edition available to Japanese market.  Named “Mugen RZ”, the car is built based on the Honda CR-Z and featuring a new aerodynamic bodykit, which includes a new front bumper, side spoilers and a bendable wing.

Equipped with a sport exhaust system, the “Mugen RZ” is powered by a 1.5-L supercharged engine that generates 156 horsepower and 136 lb-ft of torque.  The engine is teamed with the hybrid system that increases 20 horsepower and 58 lb-ft of torque.

The “Mugen RZ” rides on 17-inch wheels with specially built suspension and high-performance big brakes.

The aerodynamic bodykit will not be for sale separately, meaning no upgrade and you would need to buy a whole car.  Limited to only 300 units, the “MUGEN RZ” will be available in Japan next month with the starting price of 4,494,000 Yen (~57,000 USD).
