American Honda just announced that seven more of its models had been recognized as 2012 “Top Safety Pick” from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). In addition to the all-new Civic and the Odyssey which won this award early this year, the seven awarded vehicles include Honda Accord, all-new CR-V, CR-Z, Fit, Insight, Pilot and Ridgeline – giving Honda a total of nine winners of this award.
In addition, three Acura vehicles (TL, TSX and MDX) have also been named as “Top Safety Pick”, giving American Honda twelve winners overall and making American Honda among the best in the industry with twelve vehicles winning this award.
