The Honda Crosstour has been powered standard by a 3.5-liter V-6.   To attract consumers by lowering the price and improving the fuel economy, Honda just introduced new 4-cylinder, two-wheel-drive Crosstour models to its 2012 lineup.

The newly introduced 4-cylinder Crosstour is powered by a 2.4-liter engine, which produces 192 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 162 lb-ft. torque at 4,400 rpm(271 horsepower for the V6 model) and is available in two trims – EX and EX-L.  It has estimated fuel economy rated at 21 mpg city and 29 mpg highway, which is 3 mpg in the city and 2 mpg on the highway better than the 2012 V6 Crosstour model.

The 4-cylinder Crosstour model runs on unique 17-inch alloy wheels with P225/65 R17 all-season tires.

The 2012 4-cylinder Honda Crosstour will join the Crosstour family at the dealerships in January 2012.
