Honda has unveiled the all new-new 5th-generation CR-V, raising the bar for the compact SUV in styling, dynamic performance, fuel efficiency, functionality, ride comfort and more.

On the outside, the 2017 Honda CR-V is characterized by a wider, more broad-shouldered stance, longer wheelbase, more sharply sculpted body and premium detailing including LED headlights and taillights

On the inside, the 5th-generation CR-V features a more sophisticated, spacious and high-quality interior, with upgraded materials, more intricately styled seats, and a host of new features and technologies that raise the standard for comfort, convenience and connectivity. This includes a new Display Audio system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and a physical volume knob. The physical volume is back in response to major demand from the customers.

2017 Honda CR-V wheelbase

With the longer wheelbase, the 2017 Honda CR-V gains 2 inches in rear seat legroom. The rear cargo space with the second-row seats folded down is nearly 10 inches longer than before.

2017 Honda CR-V's 1.5-L Turbocharged Engine

2017 Honda CR-V’s 1.5-L Turbocharged Engine, producing 190 horsepower.

Under the hood, There are two engine choices: for LX trims a 2.4-liter, direct injected 4-cylinder largely carried over from the previous model. For EX and above trims, power comes from an upgraded version of the 1.5-liter direct-injected turbo that debuted in the new Honda Civic. The 2.4-L engine generates 184 horse power and 180 lb-ft of torque, whereas the 1.5-L turbo delivers 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque. The new turbocharged engine is expected to score the highest rating in fuel economy in its class.

The all-new 2017 Honda CR-V will arrive at dealerships this winter.
