Unveiled at the 2016 New York International Auto Show, the 2017 Nissan GT-R showed off it new fresh exterior, interior facelift and enhanced performance.

Here are the changes to the 2017 Nissan GT-R in three key areas that you should know about:

  1. It’s powered by the same V6 3.8-L engine as the previous model year, but now the engine produces 565 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 467 lb.-ft. of torque, about 20 horsepower and 4 lb.-ft. of torque more
  2. The exterior gets a throughout restyling for sportier look and also for better engine cooling.  The larger grille, which helps bring more air to the engine, now has a new mesh pattern and is covered with matte chrome finish.  The hood, which is revised with more-defined character lines, has been strengthened to increase stability.  The front bumper, front spoiler lip as well as the whole rear framework have been revamped.  The side sills are more protruding for better air flow.  The beltline has been lowered to give the car a wider, aggressive look when looking from the rear.
  3. The interior change is more conspicuous with a new steering wheel and an all-new simplified dashboard that has the total switches in the center dashboard reduced to only 11, compared to 27 in the previous model year.  The 7-inch touchscreen monitor has been replaced with an 8-inch one.  The shift paddles are now mounted on the new steering wheel, letting drivers to shift gears without taking their hands off the wheels.

Besides some changes mentioned above, the 2017 Nissan GT-R offers a new “Blaze Metallic” orange color as shown in the pictures.
