Antron Brown and his customized Toyota Sequoia “DragQuoia”
The customized Toyota Sequoia “DragQuoia” that was built by Antron Brown for the “2012 Toyota Dream Build Challenge” was awarded for the best truck or SUV at the 2012 SEMA Show.
Even though the “DragQuoia” didn’t win the award for the challenge that it was intended for, it captured Sony Computer Entertainment America’s Gran Turism Award for Best Truck or SUV at the 2012 SEMA Show. [See Winner of the "2012 Toyota Dream Build Challenge]
As announced in October prior the 2012 SEMA show, the customized Sequoia can produce 650 horsepower and is about 1,600 lbs lighter than the original version. It has a tail-mounted parachute just like other drag car, a full roll cage, five racing seats including a child-sized one; each seat is equipped with its own five-point racing harness.
