Next month on August 4th, a prototype of the new Acura NSX will be joining the Honda Indy 200 IndyCar Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio as a guest.

Outfitted with custom graphics, the Acura NSX Prototype will lap the circuit before the race.  You may catch a first glimpse of the NSX Prototype as the race will be broadcasted live on NBC Sports Network starting at 3 p.m. EDT.

As previously reported, the new Acura NSX will be built at the new Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio.  When hitting the market in 2015, it will feature a mid-mounted V-6 engine and the new Acura’s three-motor Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) system.
