Toyota Unveiled All-New 2014 Highlander Hybrid, Announced Prices for Highlander Lineup

Toyota unveiled the all-new 2014 Highlander gas version earlier this year at the New York Auto Show and now at the Los Angeles Auto Show they just debuted the Highlander Hybrid version, and at the same time announced the prices for both 2014 Highlander and Highlander Hybrid.
Interior, compared to the outgoing Highlander Hybrid, in addition to new features, the new 2014 Highlander Hybrid offers a larger interior space for seven passengers and 34% increase in cargo space (behind the last-row seats).
There is virtually no change in performance comparing to the previous model, the all-new Highlander Hybrid is still powered by a hybrid system which combines a 3.50L V4 engine with electric motors to produce the same net output of 280 horsepower. There is no improvement in fuel efficiency, the 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, just like the prior model, has EPA estimated fuel economy of 28mpg city, 28mpg highway and 28 mpg combined.
Available in the same two model grades – Limited and Platinum, with a new design, a more spacious interior cabin and virtually no changes in performance, Toyota raised the price of the Limited grade to $47,300, that is $930 or 2% increase from $46,370 of the 2013 model year. The price for the Platinum grade remains the same at $49,790.

Along with the debut of the all-new Highlander Hybrid, Toyota also announced the prices for the 2014 Highlander gas version. With the starting price of $29,020 for the base LE grade and $43,590 for the top grade, the 2014 Toyota Highlander, besides the Limited Platinum top grade, has prices increased from 0.4% to 4.5% on most of its grades varying from grade to grade.
