New Features and Prices Announced for 2014 Scion Lineup – Touchscreen Audio System Becomes Standard

Scion announced new features and prices for its 2014 lineup, including Scion FR-S, xB, xD and iQ. The 2014 Scion tC wasn’t part of the announcement since it was recently had a major facelift and was the first in Scion family to have Touchscreen Audio System as standard.
Together with the late 2013 xB models (built in August or after), all 2014 Scion models will come equipped with Touchscreen Audio System, making Scion the first non-luxury vehicle brand to have a touchscreen audio system as standard.
In addition, Scion also introduced a new premium audio system called “BeSpoke”, which will be available for upgrade on all new models. Priced at $1,198, the system features GPS, social apps, and free audio stations access via compatible smart phones.
For 2014 xD, Scion added in two new two-tone color options, Black Sand Pearl/ Magnetic Gray Metallic and Classic Silver Metallic/ Sparkling Sea Metallic. 2014 Scion xD with manual transmission is priced at $15,920, and $16,720 with automatic transmission. Two-tone paint is available for extra $500.
Priced at $25,800 when equipped with automatic transmission and $24,700 with manual transmission, the 2014 Scion FR-S offers new sport knee cushions that are positioned on the door panels and the sides of the center console. These added cushions provide extra comfort for both the driver and front passenger.
As for Scion iQ, “the world’s smallest four-seaters”, Scion announced a new limited Monogram Series, which rides on a premium alloy wheels and features two-tone exterior paint, color-keyed exterior mirrors and spoiler, along floor mats emblazoned with the iQ logo on the inside. With only 150 units available, the iQ Monogram Series has a price of $16,520.
