Going on sale in January of 2013, the 2014 Nissan GT-R receives various changes including performance improvement and new additional interior treatment.
After getting a major performance enhancement for the 2013 model year that gained extra 15 horsepower and 15 lb-ft of torque to 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft of torque, the Nissan GT-R is entering 2014 with another performance improvement which includes better torque response in the 4,500 – 6,000 rpm range, enhanced throttle and acceleration feel at mid- and high-rpm ranges. In addition, the 2014 Nissan GT-R is more responsive thanks to a new added oil pan baffle, which lowers rotational friction, and steadies oil behavior and oil pressure under high performance driving conditions.
While the Nissan GT-R’s exterior styling is virtually unchanged for 2014, the interior receives an optional new Premium Interior Package, which according to Nissan, emphasizes the high levels of craftsmanship and will be available in limited numbers. The new Premium Interior Package adds a grand new appearance by featuring hand-stitched exclusive Red Amber color semi-aniline leather appointments for front seats, together with Red Amber accents on the instrument panel, door trim, armrests, steering wheel and shift knob.
The 2014 Nissan GT-R is available in two models, GT-R Premium and GT-R Black Edition. The Black Edition features red and black interior, carbon fiber rear spoiler, and rides on lightweight metallic black aluminum-alloy RAYS wheels.
