To be available in Nissan dealers this September, the 2014 Nissan GT-R Special Edition will be priced at $105,590 – a $6,000 increase over the GT-R premium model price and about $10,000 less than the GT-R Track Edition price.
Limited to only 50 units in the U.S and 100 units global, the 2014 Nissan GT-R Special Edition is manually coated exclusively in “Midnight Opal” color, which changes from deep purple to deep blue depending on view angle and light condition.
In addition, the 2014 GT-R Special Edition is equipped with a dry carbon fiber spoiler and a gold-plated numbered plaque, both are also seen in the GT-R Track Edition.

No changes from the Premium Edition in terms of performance, the GT-R Special Edition is powered by a 3.8 twin turbo V6 engine delivering 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft of torque.
With the introduction of the Special Edition GT-R, the 2014 Nissan GT-R lineup will have a total of 4 models – Premium, Black Edition, Track Edition, and the GT-R Special Edition.
