The Lexus CT 200h had a starting MSRP of $32,050 last year, and yet, holds that same price as it enters 2014 with a refreshed exterior and revised features.
Retaining the basic styling and platform, the 2014 Lexus CT 200h gains new front fascia including new front bumper with revised tow hook covers, spindle grille, LED DRL, and revised fog lamp surround which has a mesh design as seen on the F SPORT. The new design changes on the 2014 CT 200h also seen at the rear with the new larger rear bumper, diffuser, reflector, and LED lighting for rear license plate.
The 2014 CT 200h looks faster thanks to aero-stabilizing fins having been added on tail lamps and side mirrors, and a new shark fin antenna replacing the post antenna. The added aero-stabilizing fins help improve overall aerodynamics by keeping the air flow closer to the body, which helps the car gain straight-line stability.
The changes continue to inside with the noticeable redesigned steering wheels and gear shift, among others.
Riding on newly designed 17-inch split five-spoke wheels, the 2014 Lexus CT 200h is powered by the same hybrid system as that of the 2013 model year, which includes a 1.8-L 4-Cyl engine and two electric motors. There is no change in performance and fuel efficiency, the 2014 CT 200h has 0-60mph acceleration of 9.8 seconds and a top track speed of 113 mph, while delivers EPA-Estimated Fuel Economy ratings (City/Hwy/Combined ) of 43/40/42 mpg.
