Acura has announced the release date and prices for its all-new flagship sedan, the 2014 Acura RLX.

Replacing the outgoing RL model, the 2014 Acura RLX will go on sale on March 15th, 2013 with a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $48,450.

To test drive the car, you don’t have to wait until March, Acura announced a client experience program called “Destination RLX”, which allows customers to test drive the car in February, weeks ahead of the official release date.

As an Acura’s flagship sedan model, the all-new Acura RLX offers new levels of safety, luxury-class comfort, and technology-enhanced performance.  It is powered by an all-new V-6 engine delivering 310 horsepower and 272 lb.-ft of torque.  Mated with a 6-speed AT, the 2014 Acura RLX is projected to earn best-in-class fuel efficiency, which is rated 20 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg combined.

The 2014 Acura RLX will be available in 5 different packages – the well-equipped RLX, the RLX with Navigation, the RLX with Technology package, the RLX with Krell Audio package, and the top-of-the-line RLX with Advance package.  The price of the 2014 Acura RLX ranks from $48,450 to $60,450.
