Now being assembled in the U.S and with the newly added entry-level S grade, the 2013 Nissan LEAF is priced starting at just $28,800, Nissan announced today.
With the new starting price, the Nissan LEAF becomes the lowest priced five-passenger electric vehicle in the U.S. The price could go much lower; in some locations, the cost of the Nissan LEAF starts as low as $18,800. For instance, California residents can get the 2013 Nissan LEAF with a big discount after taking advantage of the $7,500 federal tax credit and state rebate of $2,500.
