2013 Nissan Altima Gets “Top Safety Pick+” from IIHS

Receiving the 5-star NCAP Safety Rating back in September, the 2013 Nissan Altima brought home another award today with the “Top Safety Pick+” (TSP+) from Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
To earn the TSP+, vehicles must get good ratings in 4 of 5 tests, and have to receive no less than acceptable rating in the fifth test. The 2013 Altima got good ratings in front, side, roof and rear crash tests, and an acceptable rating in the newly introduced small overlap frontal test.
