The Honda CR-Z will enter 2013 with performance improvements and multiple styling and feature upgrades.
Getting its power from an all-new battery pack which gives a boost in the performance, the 2013 Honda CR-Z gains 8 horsepower from the previous model year to deliver 140 horsepower and 127 lb-ft. of torque (128 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque for the 2012 model year). With the better performance, the Honda CR-Z doesn’t sacrifice its fuel efficiency; in fact the 2013 model year gains 1 mpg when traveling in the city with automatic transmission or when traveling on the highway with manual transmission. The 2013 Honda CR-Z has city/highway/combined fuel economy rating of 36/39/37 mpg for the automatic transmission and 31/38/34 mpg for the manual transmission.
Interior, the 2013 Honda CR-Z features a number of changes including, but not limited to, new revised center console, metallic trim on the door pulls and latches, speaker grilles and lower steering-wheel spokes.
Other features that become standard for 2013 model year include expanded view driver’s mirror, Bluetooth phone, Bluetooth Audio and rearview camera.
With all the upgrades and enhancements, Honda increased the base price of the 2013 CR-Z model year to $19,975; that is a $430 increase from the last year model. The 2013 Honda CR-Z will go on sale from November 21st, 2012.
