Honda Announced New Changes, Release Date and Prices for the 2013 Civic Lineup

All-New redesigned just last year, the ninth generation Honda Civic enters its second year with major design upgrades and new standard features throughout its lineup. The 2013 Honda Civic lineup includes Sedan and Coupe with regular gas engine, Si performance models with a bigger gas engines, high fuel efficiency HF models, and hybrid and natural gas models.
The most obvious changes are seen on the 2013 Civic Sedan, which has a wholly redesigned front and rear styling. With a new sheet metal, all-new hood and trunk lid, new lower bumper redesign, rear honeycomb mesh vent, sportier black front honeycomb mesh grille with integrated fog lights, the 2013 Civic Sedan now has more “youthful and premium feel”.
While the exterior of the 2013 Honda Civic Coupe stays unchanged, its look is improved thanks to redesigned wheels offered on all Civic models.
The powertrains for the 2013 Honda Civic lineup are kept intact as the 2012 model year. The 2013 Civic Sedan and Coupe models are powered by the 1.8-L 4-Cyl engine rated 140 horsepower and 128 lb.-ft of torque. When equipped with the automatic transmission, the 2013 Civic has fuel economy rating of 28/39/32 mpg city/hwy/combined. The Civic HF (high fuel efficiency) Sedan gets up to 29/41/33 mpg.
The 2013 Civic Hybrid features a 1.5-L 4-Cyl engine, coupling with the battery pack to produce 110 horsepower and 127 lb.-ft of torque. The 2013 Civic Hybrid gets a city/hwy/combined fuel economy rating of 44/44/44 mpg.
Now offered in 37 states, the 2013 Honda Civic Natural Gas features a 1.8-L engine producing 110 horsepower. The Natural Gas Civic earns a city/hwy/combined fuel economy rating of 27/38/31 mpg.
The 2013 Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe will be offered in LX, EX, EX-L and Si models, with the Civic Hybrid, Civic Natural Gas and Civic HF also offered in sedan form. The entry model Civic DX has been discontinued for 2013.
The release date is different for each Civic model; the first release date will be on November 9th, 2012 for the Civic Sedan which has a staring price of $18,165. Overall, the Honda Civic will have a price range from $17,965 for the Coupe model, up to $26,465 for the Civic Natural Gas model.
