GT-R Gets Harder With Track Pack

Nissan just introduced a new track-focused edition to its 2012 GT-R line-up in U.K.  Named ‘Track Pack’, this GT-R edition was developed for those who want to take the GT-R to the race track and still be able to take the GT-R on the road legally.

The Nissan GT-R ‘Track Pack’ edition rides on lightweight 6-spoke RAYS alloys wheels with gloss black painted center.  Its suspension’s spring rate is adjusted for track racing.  Also, additional break cooling ducts are built in the front bumper and behind the rear wheels to help reduce the temperature of the front and rear brake during the race.

On the inside, the GT-R ‘Track Pack’ features blue-trimmed Recaro front seats with special grip material.  The rear seats are no longer available, so the car is lighter and thus maximizing the performance.

The Nissan GT-R ‘Track Pack’ edition is powered by the same 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine as the regular GT-R, which enables the GT-R ‘Track Pack’ to achieve 0-60mph time in just 2.7 seconds.
