For 2012, the Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback is available in two models – the ES and GT. The Lancer Sportback GT model replaces the GTS model from the previous year.

Changes for the 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback include an upgraded interior with new seat fabric, instrument panel trim and “ECO” indicator light.  The 2012 Lancer Sportback also features new design wheel covers and alloy-wheels.  In addition, soft touch materials on the door panels and rear-view camera are available as options.

The 2012 Lancer Sportback ES is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, which delivers 148 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 145 lb-ft. of torque at 4,200 rpm. It runs on 16-inch steel wheels and cover with P205/60R16 tires.  Fuel mileage for the 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback ES is rated 24mpg city/32 mpg highway.

Featuring the front fascia from Lancer Ralliart sedan, the 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback GT is powered by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, which produces 168 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 167 lb-ft. of torque at 4,100 rpm.  It rides on 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with P215/45R18 tires.  Fuel economy for the 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback GT is rated 22mpg city/29pg highway.
