FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Ward’s AutoWorld magazine recently announced that the all-new 2011 Infiniti M performance luxury sedan has been named “2010 Ward’s Auto Interior of the Year” in the premium-priced car category. Designed to honor excellence in automotive interiors, winners were selected by a team of eight Ward’s editors using criteria that included aesthetics and design harmony, comfort, ergonomics, fit and finish, materials, safety and overall value.

The 2011 Infiniti M, which is available in M56 and M37 models, offers greatly enhanced style, performance, luxury, craftsmanship and technology. It went on sale March 18th at Infiniti retailers nationwide.

The Infiniti M interior features standard Fine Vision electroluminescent gauges, a 7.0-inch color vehicle information display, Infiniti analog clock, leather-appointed, heated 10-way power driver and front passenger’s seats, and a dual occupant memory system.

Also standard on all 2011 Infiniti M models is Active Noise Control, which uses sound to delete sound – generating “canceling” sound from four door speakers (and subwoofer for models equipped with a Bose® sound system) to reduce unpleasant engine harmonics. Other available Infiniti M technology includes a next-generation Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System with 8.0-inch touch-screen display, a Bose® 2-channel 10-speaker premium audio system, heated steering wheel and climate-controlled front seats.

A premium Bose® Studio Surround® sound system with digital 5.1-channel decoding and 16 speakers and semi-aniline leather are also offered, along with genuine White Ash wood trim that has been enhanced with real silver powder. The Infiniti M’s available Forest Air™ system attempts to recreate the refreshing climate and natural breezes of a relaxing forest setting, with the Breeze Mode providing a natural airflow feeling by gently and subtly varying the airflow from the upper and front air vents.
