2010 Nissan Murano At A Glance

The second generation Nissan Murano, introduced just last year, combines visually distinctive styling, a “mobile suite” interior design, advanced technology and a refined, premium driving feel – creating a modern crossover SUV like no other.

For the 2010 model year, an LE all-wheel drive model has been added to the lineup, joining the previously available Murano S FWD, Murano S AWD, Murano SL FWD, Murano SL AWD and Murano LE AWD. Other changes include the addition of Nissan Intelligent Key™ and privacy glass as standard equipment on all models, the addition of a Vehicle Security System and roof rails as standard on Murano SL and the Dual Panel Moonroof as standard equipment on Murano LE. All models also receive simplified exterior and interior color combinations.

All 2010 Muranos feature a VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 rated at 265 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque and an advanced Xtronic CVT™ that provides a sporty and smooth driving experience. Murano is available in front-wheel drive or with an Intuitive All-Wheel Drive system, and all Muranos come standard with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS) for all-weather confidence.

The most striking visual element of the 2010 Murano is once again its body, which imparts a “modern art” feel while still maintaining its distinctive “Murano-ness.” The front end features a bold grille and wide front headlights, a wide hood that sweeps into the bodylines, powerful wheel arches and an aggressive stance with available 20-inch wheels. Murano’s rear end features a unique rear glass shape for maximum visibility, rear air deflector, large rear LED taillights and dual exhaust outlets with chrome finishers. Murano is also offered with an available dual panel power sliding glass moonroof and 2nd row skylight, adding to its open, airy interior feeling. Inside, Murano lives up to its “mobile suite” design theme with high levels of warmth and luxury. The interior also features available wood and aluminum accents, a 60/40 fold-flat rear seat with power return, heated front and rear seats, power liftgate and RearView Monitor.

The 2010 Murano is built on Nissan’s proven “D” platform, shared with the popular Nissan Altima, which provides a solid foundation and lightweight suspension components, dual flow path shock absorbers and a twin-orifice speed-sensitive power steering system.

Standard or available technology includes an Interface System for iPod®, 11-speaker Bose® premium audio system, an advanced touch screen navigation system with 9.3GB Music Box™ hard drive, a Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System and a DVD Mobile Entertainment System with a 9-inch screen.
