The Infiniti M mid-size premium performance sedan enters the last year in its current product cycle essentially unchanged from 2009, when it received a new 303-horsepower VQ35HR 3.5-liter V6 for the M35, a new 7-speed automatic transmission for the M35 RWD model and numerous other enhancements.
For 2010, the Infiniti M is again offered with a choice of 325-horsepower 4.5-liter V8 (M45) and 3.5-liter V6 engines (M35) and with rear-wheel drive or ATTESA E-TS™ all-wheel drive. It is available in four models total – M35 RWD, M35x AWD, M45 RWD and M45x AWD. It goes on sale in September 2009.
The M remains a showcase of Infiniti’s advanced safety technology, including Intelligent Cruise Control and the Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) system, an advanced Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System with touch-screen, 9.3GB Music Box hard drive for digital music storage and playback and available XM NavTraffic® (XM® subscription required, sold separately)
